Trade Ally Network in Ameren, MO, released new updates and programs to assist in savings for projects and upgrades for HVAC, lighting, electrical and more.
Raised Incentive Rates for Equipment Upgrades: Incentive rates are increasing as of August 17, 2023, for various lighting, HVAC, and electrical appliance upgrades. These new rates are in effect until the end of 2023, but the projects must be completed in 2024.
Service Changes for A-Series Lighting: Due to the Department of Energy updating their definition of GSL’s, alterations are being made to incentive programs for A-series and reflectors since they don’t meet the new qualifications for new DOE GSL definition. Applications for the Custom Program that do not meet the new definition will still be applied for and accepted until September 15, 2023. The SBDI or BSS Programs are not affected by the new changes and applications are being accepted until December 31, 2023.
New Cooling Measurements for HVAC Incentives: Standard HVAC incentives are based on a new metric. Instead of gross (nominal) net cooling capacity, it will be based on gross cooling capacity. Applications that were already submitted will be corrected by engineering a team and could result in a lower incentive than anticipated.
